Blend of Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 10%Aging in stainless steel tanks for 5 months, then in bottle for at least 3 months. This is a fresh wine with brilliant ruby red color and violet hues, the nose opens fruity and floral with notes of cherry and red fruit, lively and balanced impact on the palate with a pleasant, fresh finish. A fantastic wine throughout the meal, accompanied by appetizers, first courses and white meats, fresh cheeses. The penny on the label is the ancient coin of the Papal States, which was part of Umbria.

Rich, brilliant ruby red. Aroma is sensationally intense, with notes of ripe red fruit and delicate hints of vanilla. Full bodied, rich, dry with a long finish. Sangiovese 70%, Sagrantino 15%, Merlot 15%. Silky tannins frame a core of expressive red fruit. Flowers and spices add complexity on the supple finish.
